Seller Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Q: When are checks mailed?

A: We mail checks the Monday after the sale. Please ensure your address is up to date if you are not picking up your check the day of the sale.

Q: Can animals be consigned beforehand?

A: If you would like to pre-consign livestock before a sale please email sales@mvlauction.com with details. Consignments are advertised on our website and social medias.

Q: Can I "NO SALE" an animal?

A: Yes. But all "no sales" must be called in the ring before the animal goes out the gate. There is a "no sale" fee.

Q: When should I bring my livestock to the barn?

A: The sale will start at noon, so the earlier the better. We recommend dropping livestock off between 9am and 11am.

Q: Why can't I see my name on the market report?

A: The market report is a "representative market" meaning that it does not list all animals that sold through the sale.
