OPEN HORSE SALE INFORMATION

Horses do not have to be pre-consigned and can be brought on the day of the sale.

If you are selling a horse as registered, it is your responsibility to get the original papers to the auctioneer as you come into the ring. Horses will sell grade unless accompanied by original registration papers in the ring.

Please have horses on site and checked in by 11am the day of the sale.

All horses brought to the sale barn to sell must be tagged and go through the ring

Selling before the sale or alley trading is strictly prohibited
-
NO SALE must be called before the animal leaves the ring. There is a $25 No Sale fee for Horses.

Requirements to sell:

OUT OF STATE HORSES – Health (CVI), Coggins, and Brand Inspection. If you are selling as a Registered horse, you will need to bring the ORIGINAL Registration Papers as well as a transfer from THE LAST RECORDED OWNER ON THE PAPERS

COLORADO HORSES – Brand Inspection – even if the horse has no brands, the brand inspection shows proof of ownership. There will be brand inspectors at the sale barn the day of the sale that can do a brand inspection for you If you are selling as a Registered horse, you will need to bring the ORIGINAL Registration Papers as well as a transfer from the last recorded owner on the papers.
